Let me say that I begin this pans LOVE! They are absolutely the best pans I have ever had. I did not have the funding "pots on 1 September expensive investment. I really need a pan, like my old really lost their ability, stop food from attack, and needed to be" recycled, "I Began review assessment with a score of pots on the web. By far the KitchenAid was the highest score in a pan of cost-effectiveness. All say they are happy with the waywith the design and durability. Since I bought this set, I also have the 11 "wok and bought a small 8" pan, fry perfect for one or two eggs. I want this to last, so I washed them once I've finished with them and hang them to dry out, so do not forget that my family and put them in the dishwasher is not recommended. They wash beautifully. I have one or more of them every day, and use the road remains intact in appearance. I could continue, but you getthe picture! By the way, I have a good plate of glass [Ceran] stove, and I have no problems with the pots cooked evenly.

What to consider when looking for the best stainless steel skillet to use in your kitchen? Many manufacturers offer different size skillets and some have a nonstick coating and others are not coated. Depending on the type of dish you are trying to prepare will determine whether you should use a nonstick or uncoated stainless steel cooking surface.
The traditional uncoated surfaces are great for preparing meals that you would start on the cook top and finish off in the oven. The best stainless steel skillet for this type of cooking process is one that has a handle that is capable of withstanding the oven temperatures also.
The other benefit of using this type of stainless steel cookware is that it produces what is called a fond. These are those brown sticky bits that you find clinging to the bottom of the pan that you can make a flavored sauce from by deglazing the pan at the end. This is something you don’t get when using a nonstick pan.
Other things to consider when looking for the right stainless steel cookware for your kitchen are the size of the skillet and the weight. I think the preferred minimum size of a skillet should be at least 12 inches. It should be large enough that if you are preparing chicken or meat that the pieces fit in the pan without touching each other.
Having a good quality stainless steel cookware should be a least at medium weight like around 3 pounds or more. This type of cookware will distribute the heat evenly, easier to control the cooking process and will brown and sear meats beautifully. Lightweight cookware can heat up too quickly and can be more difficult to control the cooking process.
So if you prefer this style of cooking it will pay to have a good quality stainless steel cookware in your kitchen.

The flat cooking area on the bottom is exactly 5.5 inches. The rising edges flare gently outwards at the bottom then get steeper so the top area is 9″.
3 eggs over easy? The small flat bottom area is PERFECT and the sides sloap gently from the bottom so you can flip them with a simple wrist toss or easily get under them with a spatchula.
Fits perfect on my small burner and not having the extra size of the regular Calphalon skillets makes this heated and ready to cook very quickly.
Single or cooking for two? You will use THIS most often. The higher sides mean less cleanup of your stove and added volume in case you want to sauce it up.
For me this is THE pan for eggs. I am eating them as I write this. A perfect circle of 3 over easy fried eggs that I did not have to ‘chase’ all over a large pan watching some too thin whites cook too fast while other whites were undone. Uniform egg white thickness is a thing of beauty. I am on the low carb diet so YES, eggs are a big deal for me and so is cooking them exactly how I want them.

Oh and HOLA AMIGOS the bottom area is perfect for frying corn tortillas which are usually just under 5″ round. Less oil needed and the steep sides would hold in the splatter.

OK this was my first good quality frying pan and I absolutely love it.
Fast and even heating, extremely easy cleanup, and best of all the red on this pan looks amazing. I highly recommend this pan to anyone, sure there is better stuff out there (Calphalon One), but for the price of this pan you can not beat the quality. So far I have only made eggs and they came out perfect, I am sure this pan will also be great for doing small stir fry, sauteing small portions, and frying just about anything you can think of.
I strongly advise anyone who gets this pan to read all the proper heating, and cleaning instructions before even using the pan.
Oh and forgot to mention the 1 year no hassle replacement warranty, can’t beat that either, not sure I am ever going to have to use it but it’s nice that it’s there.
