Cuisinart Chef’s Classic Nonstick Hard-Anodized 2-Quart Cook and Pour Saucepan
I received this as a bridal shower gift two and a half years ago. I think I have used it almost everyday since then! This is one of my favorite pieces of cookware. Great for heating up soup, making macaroni and cheese, boiling water for tea, heating up a jar of pasta sauce, boiling a few eggs. This pot cleans easily and I love the pouring spout and the lid with with strainer. After two years of nearly daily use, it’s still in great shape. I recently purchased a second one as a birthday gift to my mother-in-law. Would definitely recommend.

I bought the 5 quart version of the Cuisinart Hard-Anodized nonstick 4 yeas ago through Amazon and after dozens upon dozens of uses, I can say I am glad to have it! The pan is large and the bottom extends out far beyond the direct flame of a gas burner, but I have never noticed an instance of a lack of even heating. Sure, the edges are a touch less hot so far from the center, but it’s even throughout. Aside from the size, what I like about this product is the top notch quality of the non-stick surface, which Cuisinart calls Quantanium. I’m not a chemist, but it seems much more durable than you average, run-of-the-mill teflon coated pan. It’s worth paying a little extra for this quality of nonstick. I’m looking forward to many more years of dependable use from this pan, and I’m sure I’ll get it.

I love this pan. Even though it is larger than the burners on my stove, it heats evenly. It is great for frying or for dishes that go from the stovetop to the oven. The clear lid makes it so easy to check on dishes without having to lift the lid and loosing heat. Plenty of room and deep enough for stirring foods, when you need to. Love the helper handle – it makes lifting the pan so easy, even when it is full. Clean up is a breeze.

I love this Cuisinart Chef’s classic non-stick 3 1/2 quart saute pan with lid. It cooks evenly, is a breeze to clean, and has good balance, making it easy to manage when taking it off the burner. I’m glad Amazon sent me an email recommending it, otherwise I would have missed a good bargin. I need the larger size also and will purchase it soon. I recently purchased it, so I have no opinion as to how well it will wear with use, but I expect it to last forever. It is obviously a high-quality product.

As a professional chef, I am bound to use only NSA certified pots and pans in my kitchen, However about a year ago I purchased this entire set of Hard Anodized cookware for use in my home kitchen. For the price I could not have purchased a better quality set. I use them every day and they are oven tested to 450 Degrees. They heat evenly, the non-stick surface does not come off in the wash water, and I have dropped the glass covers onto hard surfaces on several occasions and still have yet to break one. This is a good price for this single pan, I paid close to 00.00 for the 17 piece set

I have the 2 1/2 quart Cuisinart saute pan and I thought this would be the same. The smaller pan has the same metal thickness on the bottom and sides. This one has the thick bottom but thinner sides. I prefer the uniform thickness. Pans with thin sides tend to burn/stain if you are cooking something dry at high temperatures. They are ok if there is lot’s of liquid. I use this pan for things that have some cooking liquid so it works ok. The price was very good.

I’ve had numerous cheap-o non stick sets over the years. The last set was hard anodized but not good quality. I recently got a new glass top stove and found my 10 year old set was not going to work as the bottoms are not flat anymore. I got this set on the Friday sale. What a wonderful surprise when they arrived.
These pans are good quality weight but not heavy that it makes them hard to lift. You cook on low or medium heat. I’m used to turnng stuff up on high then turning it down but the instructions said only use on low and med. So I figured stuff would take longer to cook. NOT so! In fact my meals have been done sooner. It is the first non stick set that really is non stick. You cannot use spray in it like Pam as it will ruin the non stick surface. Guess that is why all my other non stick pans always stuck.
You just cannot beat the quality and value of this set. It looks so professional and clean. I am glad it is not in the classic red. Nothing against red just that these match better to my kitchen than red does. The lids are thick good quality glass. I’m thinking finally this will be my last set of cookware. They have a 1 year full replacement no shipping cost to you but when you read on it is a lifetime warranty really. If it is not due to abuse they stand by it for as long as you own it. Like if a handle would fall off they will replace with same or equal value item. That’s the kind of company I like to do business with.
Highly recommend for someone just getting started or and experienced cook. Good for a single person or small family. Large families probably need the bigger sets.
